I was happy with hotel's stunning location into a magnificent canyon. Loved staying at the extremely spacious premium king room with hot tub. Location: the venue was close enough to rural Colorado and the ' fancy ' restaurant and mountains. There was a casual restaurant nearby.

As a solo traveler, the hotel also provided an easy way to enjoy the nearby nature hikes that were awe-inspiring but I wish there were better hot tub options near the pool.

Staying at gateway canyons resort was like stepping into a beautiful dream. The food was delectable, especially the diabolically good sandwiches at the paradox grill. Don't forget to visit the car museum for a unique touch, and definitely check out the nature hikes. This secluded paradise left a mark on my heart.
